We are a church committed to...
This year as a church family we are focusing our efforts and abilities on these specific, strategic areas:
Praying
We are committed to prayer realizing this is one of the powerful keys God has given to those who believe in Jesus Christ to see hearts and lives comforted, strengthened and built up during the most challenging of situations. God hears the prayers of His people!
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
- 2 Chronicles 7:14
Worshiping
As a church family we are committed to a lifestyle of worship in which our daily walk matches our talk. Our lives are to be wholly devoted to God and His priorities. As we follow the instructions found in the living Word, the Bible our lives truly will reflect the worth and majesty of a living God.
"Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care."
- Psalms 95:6-7
"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks."
- John 4:23
Reaching
We are committed to encouraging and equipping believers to share the love of God with others, helping to disciple them in the ways of the Lord through a real life example. We want to be available where ever we are to spread the life-changing truth of the love of God found through Jesus Christ.
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
- Matt. 28:18-20
Connecting
We value connecting with God and others. Healthy, balanced relationships are vital to the life flow of our church family. We want everyone to feel welcome and be able to find someone they can relate to, be accountable to, and grow with.
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
- Hebrews 10:24-25
Equipping
The mandate on our church is to equip believers for Christian service (Eph.4:11-16). We will accomplish this through intentional focus on relevant Biblical teaching, prayer and opportunities for relational discipleship. As well as, providing practical resources to help individuals and families become all that God has designed them to be.
"May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."
- Hebrews 13:20-21
Restoring
We desire to create a safe, caring, grace-filled atmosphere where people can receive healing for life's hurts. We are all being continually changed and restored into the image God originally intended (Romans 12:1-2). Our commitment is to help people overcome their past mistakes and live in freedom from negative, hurtful, addictive cycles.
"May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and He will do it."
- I Thess. 5:23-24
